Kare Laukkanen

Kare is a skilled communications and business management professional with over 20 years of experience in corporate and investor relations, both as a consultant and as a director responsible for corporate and investor communications.

Kare most enjoys the opportunity his work provides to engage in long-term, close collaboration with clients and make his expertise available to them, as if he were part of their own team. Initial public offerings (IPOs), various corporate transactions, and investor and financial communications issues, as well as disclosure obligations for public companies, are Kare’s core areas of expertise.

During his more than ten years as a consultant, Kare has acted as a trusted advisor to the top management of numerous companies and as an outsourced investor communications professional. He has also led communications in several IPOs, share issues, public tender offers and demanding M&As. Before his consulting career, Kare headed the Group Communications and Investor Relations team at media group Sanoma and held several management positions at SSH Communications Security, an internet security company.

Kare’s working languages are Finnish and English. Kare holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. In his free time, Kare enjoys fencing and outdoor activities, and he holds a black belt in Hontai Yoshin Ruy Jujitsu. Kare is a citizen of Finland and the United Kingdom.
