IR Partners supported Lähitaksi on its journey toward more visible sustainability efforts
IR Partners partnered with Lähitaksi to develop the company’s sustainability efforts. Through this collaboration, a concrete sustainability program was developed to support the business, with the goal of strengthening the company’s position as a reliable, safe, and sustainable taxi operator.
The work began with a thorough background analysis, which included interviews with Lähitaksi’s management and stakeholders, a competitor analysis, and the identification of specific characteristics related to sustainability and regulation in the taxi industry. This ensured that the program is grounded in both strategic objectives and the expectations of Lähitaksi’s customers and partners. The collaboration focused on identifying Lähitaksi’s strengths and areas for development, as well as distilling responsibility into a clear, communicatively effective framework.
The result was a sustainability program that consolidates Lähitaksi’s environmental responsibility, social responsibility, and good governance objectives into focus areas. The program includes concrete annual measures, a sustainability management model and roadmap, as well as recommendations for internal and external communication. Particular attention was paid to practicality, implementability, and engaging entrepreneurs and drivers in sustainability efforts.
